You won’t get a notification if someone unfollows or unfriends you on Facebook, but there’s a way to confirm if someone is on your list of followings.

To see if someone is not following you, log into the Facebook app or web > go to your profile > click on followers > input the name into the box, and search for the user.
If any profile with the inputted name is following you, it should come up, but if they’ve unfollowed you, their name won’t be on the search results list.

Facebook has made it easy to verify if someone has followed you, whether you’re using the app or the web.
Here’s how to see if someone is not following you on Facebook using the Facebook App.
- Open the Facebook or Facebook Lite app
- Go to your profile
- Tap the followers option to see the number of followers and their names.
- Use the search box to sort the list, or scroll down to review your followers.

- Go to Facebook.com and login to your account
- Tap on the 3 vertical icons and click “View your profile.”
- Tap on the followers option to see all your followers

If you can’t find the person’s name on your followers list, then there’s a possibility that he/she is not following you on Facebook.
However, let’s not rule out that Facebook may have temporarily or permanently suspended their account. To confirm this, search for their name on the Facebook search.
If the name comes up, it’s evident that they’ve unfollowed you, but if it doesn’t, then there’s a possibility that the account has been suspended, deleted, or the user has blocked you.
